At some point in the future, however, we may start charging for some features and services on CheMondis.

CheMondis is a digital marketplace for the chemical industry, starting off in the European market. However, we do welcome any international company that complies with European and International regulations.
To assure a high quality of all market participants, we verify that each newly registered user / company has a legitimate interest in either supplying or buying chemical products.
Yes, your company can use CheMondis to both buy and sell chemical products. However, please note that in order to comply with the EU anti-trust regulation, two separate accounts are required: one buyer account and one seller account. The accounts must be assigned to different people and e-mail addresses within your organization.
It is not possible to register the same user as both buyer and supplier.
After you have registered on CheMondis with your personal and company information and confirmed your e-mail address, our customer support team will validate your company.
We verify each new registration to ensure that we only have trusted companies on CheMondis. It may take up to two business days, but we do our best to speed up the process. You will receive a confirmation e-mail when your company is verified. Then your account is active and you can start your business on CheMondis. In case of questions, we will reach out to you via e-mail or telephone.
As CheMondis is a B2B marketplace you can request a quote directly from the supplier.
If you wish to send a quotation request to a supplier, first use the search function to find a product you need on the marketplace. After you have selected a product, click on the "Add to Requests" button and then "Send a Request". When you have entered details for your quote and send your request to the supplier, they will also be notified about it via e-mail.
You can also send a multiple quote requests for different products to several suppliers at the same time.
You can either use our search bar by typing in a CAS number or product name and then pressing enter to see all results or you browse products by industry or product group.
You can then narrow down the results with our filters. They work individually or combined. Find following filters on CheMondis:
(1) The search bar (2) by industries, (3) by product groups and (4) by delivery countries. You can also apply such filters as (5) Incoterm, (6) packaging type and (7) quantity.
The product portfolio is constantly expanding. However, it may happen that the product you are looking for is not available on the marketplace yet. In this case, you can always reach out to our customer support team via support@chemondis.com and we will be glad to help you with the product search.
As CheMondis is a B2B marketplace, all product information is provided by the supplier directly. The product detail page contains the CAS number of the substance, manufacturer, shipment countries. Many suppliers also provide TDS and SDTs for the buyers.
We understand that before purchasing a product, you may wish to request a sample first. You can ask for a sample when sending a quote request: check the "I need a sample of this product" box and the supplier will see that you require a sample in the quote request window.
If you wish to send a quote request to a supplier, first use the search function to find a product you need on the marketplace. After you have selected a product(s), click on the "Add to Requests" button and then "Send a Request". After you have entered details for your quote and sent your request to the supplier(s), they will also be notified about it via e-mail.
If you wish your colleague to receive notifications on a particular Quote Request / Agreement status updates, you can easily do it in your account. For that, please remember that you need to have an admin status in your company.
In order to assign a user to an existing quote, open the quote to see all details. At the very top of the page above the chat window, you can add users (assignees).
This user will then be able to participate in the conversation and will receive all notifications in case of updates. Non-assigned users will not receive notifications.
After you have sent your request, the supplier will get an automatic e-mail notification. The supplier company will then reply as soon as possible to your request.
Existing long-term contracts can be displayed and new ones can be negotiated on CheMondis with our Agreement feature.
An Agreement on CheMondis is a deal for recurring purchases of a product with pre-negotiated conditions like price and volume for a certain period of time. After the Agreement has been confirmed, you can start making orders until the total volume is called off.
To request a quote for a product from different suppliers CheMondis offers a Multiple Quote Request function.
Search for a product on the marketplace and select as many products as you wish by choosing on "Add to Requests". Your pre-selected options will be displayed on the right-hand side of the page. Then, please, fill out the details for of the Quote Request form and send it to all of the selected suppliers.
You can securely share the documents with the supplier in the chat function. They will be also available in the documents section of the Quote Request page.
On the order detail page supplier can also upload for you such documents as invoice and order confirmation.
The delivery on CheMondis is fulfilled in accordance with the Incoterm, that you have agreed on with the supplier.
When you send a Quote Request to the supplier, please indicate a preferred Incoterm®. Your supplier will then agree or propose another Incoterm in the offer.

After you have made an order on CheMondis, you can retrieve supplier’s contact information from the order dashboard under addresses.

Listing products on CheMondis is free of charge. There are two ways of uploading products on CheMondis: single product upload and bulk upload.
Single product upload
You can upload a product in your products page on CheMondis. To do that, log in to your account: login
Add your product details and activate it to be visible on the marketplace.
Bulk product upload
To add several products, you can also use the Bulk Upload function Please click on your initials and then on "my products". Then click on Product Bulk Upload and follow the process: download our excel file, fill it out and then upload it. CheMondis will then list your products to your account.
Please, check the information and activate the products to make them visible to the buyers.

No, prices are not mandatory, and you can upload products without a price. Potential customers can then send you a Quote Request.
For the Instant Deals, however, it is necessary to indicate a price and product availability.
For individual Quote Requests we also advise you to enter information about the availability of the product, since this might determine whether your potential new customers request a quote or not.
Sure, no problem. You can specify the countries your wish your products to be sold to when you upload your products on CheMondis.
Please, also note that you may receive quote requests from countries that are outside of your selected countries range. You can then individually decide on each potential business opportunity.
Please upload your SDS and TDS in English. If this is not possible, get in touch with our chemical product management team via chemicals@chemondis.com and we can search for other solutions.
Your documents such as SDS and TDS can be seen only by the registered and verified buyers.
The information about your product from the product detail page as well as your company name is publicly available to attract more buyers for you.
There are several important factors:
1. Fill out the product description with care. We recommend you to add as much details as possible to your product (appearance, concentration, units, product groups, industries) as it can help customers to make the right choice. Complete info about your product will positively affect the ranking of your product.
2. Try to reply on the requests from the customers in the timely manner. This will also positively affect the ranking of your product for future searches.
3. You can also set up a Brand Shop for your product listings. For that, please get in touch with us via support@chemondis.com.

When a new order, quote or offer comes in, all users of the company are notified about that via e-mail. For updates on existing quotes, only those users, who are assigned to this particular order or quote request, are notified via e-mail.
If you do not receive the notifications, which you are expecting to receive, make sure to be assigned to the respective order or quote.

To register you need to sign up your company as well as at least one individual user. Later, more individual users can be added under the same company.
First, you create an individual account with the user's name, the company name, the user's email and a password. This will be your admin account on CheMondis.
Then, you register your company with the company's VAT number, billing address and a phone number. Please note that each company can only be registered once as a buyer and once as a supplier.
In case your company already has an account on CheMondis marketplace, you can ask your colleagues to send you an invitation to join under the same company. More about how to add a new user to your company, you can find in this FAQ within "my Account".

Most companies have a unique value added tax (VAT) identification number or goods and services (GST) identification number. You can check it in your tax certificate or call tax authorities. If you do not have a VAT number in your country, please submit your business registration number.

2. Confirm your e-mail address by clicking on the activation link in our automatic e-mail.
3. We personally verify each newly registered company to make sure that the CheMondis marketplace is a trusted environment. This takes up to 2 business days.
4. In the meantime, you can get acquainted with the marketplace.
As a supplier, you can already start uploading your products. Please note, that you will only be able to activate them after your company is verified.
5. CheMondis will send you a confirmation e-mail when you company gets validated on the marketplace.
6. Now your account is fully activated and you can start your business on CheMondis.
It is crucial that your company data is always up-to-date, so that buying and selling on CheMondis run smoothly. You can update your information in the administration tool in your settings. Alternatively, you can log in to your admin tool: settings

You can easily add colleagues to join your work on CheMondis.They don’t need to register again. You can add a new user in the administration tool in your settings. Choose "Add a new user" in the "User" section and fill out the colleague’s data in the fields. Your colleague will then receive your invitation to join. You can log in to your admin tool: settings
Please note that they will also have the same account type (buyer or supplier) which you chose for your company. If you work in sales but your colleagues want to join CheMondis for purchasing, they need to register a separate buyer company account.
You can add a new address in settings in your CheMondis account. Select "Add Address" and then fill out the information. For example, you can add more shipping address locations and then select the relevant one for delivery.
Admin users on CheMondis: (1) can add new users to your company, (2) can update user information on CheMondis, (3) receive all notifications about quotes / orders unless other users are assigned to a particular quote.
When you go to your settings, select "Users" and you will see all users currently registered under your company. As an admin user you can then add new users or change the role of existing users to admin.

We have a team of chemical experts who constantly check uploaded products and evaluate the quality of the information provided. If they notice that something is missing or misleading, they will get in touch with the respective supplier and help to improve the information.
Furthermore, the product information on CheMondis is only provided directly by the supplier of the products. We do not add any product information taken from sources other than that.
